Adaka means "coming into the light" in Southern Tutchone, and this 8 day festival will light up the Whitehorse waterfront from June 22nd to June 28th. The days will be filled with both traditional and contemporary music, dance, fashion, carving, drumming, storytelling, sculpture, films, cultural presentations, workshops, artists demonstrations, arts and crafts, and much more. Make sure to soak in the beautiful culture and fill your belly at the community feast.
The festival will take place at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre.
