Southern Lakes Bike Loppet

This bike race is 173km which can be completed individually or through up to a 5 person team.  There are 5 legs running from Mt. Lorne to Golden Horn for 19 km, Golden Horn to Marsh Lake for 42 km, Marsh Lake to Tagish for 46 km, Tagish to Carcross for 34 km, and finally from Carcross to Mount Lorne for 32 km.  The cost is only $35 a rider, $45 for late registration.  Last year over 35 teams competed and there were over 100 riders with the youngest being just 12 years old.
