Vancouver International Fringe Festival
Start
06 Sep 2012
End
16 Sep 2012
Location
Vancouver, BC
First Vancouver Theatrespace Society brings you the most international Fringe Fest in North America. Over the course of 11 days, 80 groups will produce 700 performances on Granville Island! Over 30,000 people are expected to flood the city for the event which aims to enable anyone to partake in theatre.
This Fringe Festival has a non-juried line up of events chosen directly from a hat. What makes this festival unique is that 100% of the box office revenue is given to the artists. There is also the special inclusion of "Bring Their Own Venue" performances which enable actors to perform out of trees, on bicycles, and balancing on a boat.
Volunteers and needed and welcome.
