Terry Fox Run

Terry Fox endured 16 months of chemotherapy when he decided to do the Marathon of Hope in 1980.  He inspired people to keep achieving their dreams no matter what circumstances had been dealt to them.  This run, in honour of Terry Fox, is completed every year  by thousands of Canadians in many different locations to raise money for cancer research.  All it takes it some running with family or friends on a special day to participate in this international event.  Running sites in the Yukon are located in Carmacks, Dawson City, Watson Lake, and Whitehorse.
